The shoot can capture the mother's elegance and the unity between her and her baby. It is recommended
to women who are not comfortable in any type of revealing shots instead wants fully covered dress with no slit.

Best time for maternity photo session

Idle time for a pregnancy photo sessions is between 21 to 31 weeks (6th to 7th month)
of pregnancy. By this time, the baby bump is well-rounded and visible but not too large,
making it ideal for photos and in later months, it may be too heavy, making posing uncomfortable.

How It Works!

2. Pick your package

Once booked, you will get a checklist of all the things that you need to know for your preparation. Our beautiful mothers sometimes worry about different things such as wardrobe, studio safety, etc. In this case, we would like to let you know that we have an optional online consultation session for your comfort prior to the shooting to clarify anything that it’s in your mind.

3. Secure your slot

You can book a slot by completing the booking process and paying the booking amount to secure a session with us.

4. Photoshoot day

On your session day, we will have fun capturing amazing photos of your pregnancy glow. Here at Greaterthan Photographie, we take pride in making our own maternity gowns. Our clients love our designs, and they add a delicate and intimate feel to your maternity shoot. We use lace, silk, satin, and sheer fabrics to customize the gown to your body. Our materials come in a whole range of colors from warm to cool to neutrals; so let us know your color preference ahead of time, and we will have the fabric ready for you.

5. Online gallery

After the shoot, you'll get the access of unedited jpeg digital photos via an online email shared on your email post the completion of due balance mentioned on receipt shared at the time of booking process completion and you can then select your favorite photos for the editing. You can also add editing comments and order additional photos and prints via whatsapp messages.

6. Receive your amazing products

You will be notified on WhatsApp once the printed photos, frame and album are ready and available at studio for the pickup. You can either send someone or arrange a rider for the pickup of parcel to get it delivered at your doorstep safely - without any breakage or damage. All Digital images will be shared with you via wetrasfer or pendrive (if informed us at the time of booking the session).

Perfect Bump Size : By this time, the baby bump is well-rounded and visible but not too large, making it ideal for photos and in later months, it may be too heavy, making posing uncomfortable.

Comfort & Energy Levels : During the second trimester and early third trimester, most moms-to-be have good energy levels and feel relatively comfortable. By the 8th or 9th month, swelling, fatigue, and discomfort increase, making it harder to pose for a long time.

Reduced Risk of Early Labor : The 6th to 7th month is a safer period to move around and pose without the risk of preterm labor. Waiting until the last month may lead to unexpected delivery before the shoot happens.

Less Swelling & Pregnancy Symptoms : Common issues like swollen feet, bloating, and excessive weight gain become more noticeable in the last trimester. Earlier in pregnancy, you are more likely to feel beautiful and confident in your outfits.

Better Mobility & Posing Ability : Standing, sitting, and posing for long durations is easier compared to the later months when movement is more restricted.

If you’re expecting twins or multiples, consider doing the shoot earlier (around 20-26 weeks), as the bump grows faster, and discomfort increases sooner.

Setting up your maternity session is something you can do at any time. We normally advise giving two to four weeks' notice, although occasionally we can fulfill last-minute demands. It's crucial to make reservations in advance if you want a weekend appointment because Saturdays and Sundays fill up quickly.

You are in good hands and we want to make sure that you will have the best selection of images. Even if it’s your first professional photography experience, our goal is to make sure you feel comfortable, relaxed, beautiful, and confident.

During your photo shoot, we will guide you through elegant poses and will focus on angles that bring out your most beautiful self.

We do not allow cellphone pictures or video’s in our studio. It is your responsibility to educate your family member about this policy.

Absolutely! They are allowed for photo session with you by default in all our packages.
